An unexpected morning surprise

The indoor pool was a refreshing retreat after a long day at the nearby attractions. The friendly staff greeted us each morning with warm smiles and helpful advice.

Unfortunately, the shower had some maintenance issues. I noticed that the water pressure was weak and the wallboard was in need of repair, which dampened the experience.

Can just recommend for a transient visit

Comfortable bed, friendly staff, the breakfast options were a hit with my grandson, especially the waffle maker where he enjoyed customizing his waffles with peanut butter, jelly, and syrup, and the location made it easy to explore the area near Des Moines International Airport.

I loved how close we were to Adventureland Park and Mally's Weh-Weh-Neh-Kee Park, allowing for some fantastic city strolls. the variety of nearby dining options made it easy to grab a bite after exploring.

the hot breakfast could use more variety. but the location was perfect for us. the indoor pool was nice for relaxing and the staff really made us feel welcomed. way better than my last stay!

The Queen Room was pretty decent. The beds were comfy, and the TV was nice and newer. Everything felt clean, and it was surprisingly quiet considering its location. I loved the breakfast with the waffle maker. Plus, the tea with honey and creamer really hit the spot. Only downside was the pool area. it felt a bit small, but still nice for a quick dip.

We had a nice time! The pool was relaxing, and my grandson couldn't get enough of the waffle maker at breakfast! I just wish the TV had better channels.

I was disappointed with my stay at the hotel. The toilet in our room was very low and felt insecure, making it uncomfortable for our family. Furthermore, the pool area had a strong chlorine smell, and it looked like it needed some renovations. Breakfast was minimal and did not meet our expectations, leaving us feeling underwhelmed during our visit.

Had a great time with friends at this hotel! We explored Adventureland and visited the local shops. The rooms are clean, and the indoor pool is a nice touch for relaxation. The check-in process took longer than expected due to a large family group ahead of us.
